Sony Full Spectrum Conversion Service

from $349.00
sale

All conversions include Broad Band Anti-Reflective coatings where applicable. The full spectrum conversion extends the camera’s range of sensitivity from 400nm-700nm to 300nm-1050nm, allowing for UV, Visible, and Near-Infrared photography all in one device. This conversion is usually done by eliminating the stock mounting hardware, and adhering the conversion glass to the image sensor surface by using optical epoxy, then sealing the edges. This makes the conversion very simple, reliable, and dust resistant. All of the first VAS converted Sony cameras so far are still running today with no defects, after experiencing the most extreme places on earth.

Note: It is normal to see a banded “thin layer effect” on the image sensor. This is due to the proximity of the glass to the image sensor packaging, and does not affect image.

Fulfillment:

You will receive an address through email that you will ship the camera to.

Conversion time estimates start once we receive and evaluate the camera.

Buyer must pay return shipping. If there are any requirements such as signature, insurance, packaging, or address change, such matters need to be communicated before return shipping takes place.
